Hello! It's about time I finally got this off the ground, isn't it? No more delays, no more silence! It is time for me to formally announce - and advertise - my book: Burning Stars: Afterdark.
What's it about? I'm glad you asked! (Or didn't and are still reading regardless):
"Virith is the Valkyrie, a champion of dragons. Wherever she goes, her presence inspires those around her. Yet, Virith is only one dragon, and the pressure the persona places upon her shoulders is only growing heavier. After disobeying a direct order, she is sent on leave, where she uses the time to build her fraying relationships.
What should have been a time of recuperation serves only a grim reminder for Virith. That no matter where she goes, the shadow of war will always envelop herself and those around her."

I've personally always been all about dragons, and even more so when there is a story or lore tied to them. I'm definitely giving this a read myself once it releases. x)

This is a laid back server, for everything art and world building related along with other things such as life, gaming and memes. Feel free to join! Just remember to read the rules and feel free to introduce yourself.

Topics may be discussed as long as the parties involved can respect each others views and opinions, but honestly there are other places to discuss these things so please try to avoid it. I had a miscarriage. I spent almost the entire day in the ER. It all happened so fast and very early in the morning.. My water broke and it was just all blood clots afterword. I'm truly heartbroken, but I'm not at loss of any hope. We are keeping our spirits high and we are eager to try again as soon as we can.
It's not clear why I had a miscarriage. I have a theory, but it's not confirmed, nor will i find out if it was or not. All we can do is try again.
As of right now i feel pretty tired and sore. I think it will get better soon.
I hate to keep bringing bad news.
I wanted to thank those who have left their thoughts with me recently and in the past. I cant tell you how much it means to me to have this kind of support. I am sorry if i do still appear quiet. I do read and deeply appreciate all your words and thoughts.
If you took the time to read my mourning, thank you again.

The journey to even getting this far has been tedious and tough, mostly emotionally. I had a hard time getting pregnant up until i finally got to the specialists, which happened to help us almost immediately. After our 2nd attempt at getting pregnant with their aid, is when the miracle finally happened. We were so happy and excited to finally start our family... And this event is definitely heavy on our hearts right now. I will be okay though, and again- we are hopeful. Hopefully next time around, maybe the docs will help keep a closer eye if anything. I guess we will see when that time comes too.
I'm an emotional mess since it has happened though, and everything seems to be falling apart around me... I do have a lot weighing on my heart.
I hate to keep bringing bad news.
